I dont know but I been told, a big legged woman aint got no soul.

it turns out that saying "oh my god that sounded like someone fisting an elephant" makes the people in the office wary of you. in my defence it really did sound like that... possibly with an antelope...

weekend was marvellous but oh so tiring! Was in and out within an hour on friday, picking up Ben and Bridget along the way. Santiagos lacked draught cider which always narks me but all in all a good night with plenty of good chatting and a little comedy heckling on my behalf. I just can't help myself. I need a t-shirt that says: 'born to heckle' I managed to get home relatively early, avoiding the temptations of darkside, as I knew saturday was going to be a bit 'epic'

Saturday was a bit 'epic'...

being a practical orange I took a change of clothes with me so I wouldn't be dressed up and corsety all day. although this did mean I got dressed up and put my makeup on after about 6 pints of cider. wonder what I looked like and if I had the correct items of clothing in the correct body area...? Bands were good again - was particularly impressed by caffeine kill given the singer had never sung with them before - their old singer having left them the day before. and it was great to see marky moo and steph again after such a long time.

I really enjoyed Leechwoman - they had quite a godfleshy vibe to them IMHO. was just singing their praises to various folks by text when they covered Kerosine - super ace - one loves kerosine dontcha know! plus the singer was a completely lovely bloke - everso friendly. in fact I'd go so far as to say that most of the band peoples were pretty damned friendly - Fester from history of guns being particularly amusing :)

I eventually managed to lose count of how much cider I'd had at about 10 pints (sorry to [livejournal.com profile] eddy_ for texting him an increasingly incomprehensible running total throughout the night - some of those texts made *no* sense when re-read the next morning... oops) Can't really remember much of Transmission other than it must have been carnage. [livejournal.com profile] scarletkitti, [livejournal.com profile] loulah_belle and [livejournal.com profile] plushy turned up following the march violets gig and much SQUEE!ing occurred. Finally got to meet [livejournal.com profile] diceman who I've been chatting to on msn for a while - meeting people for the first time at around the 11 pint mark might not be the best circumstances for making a good impression eh...? :)

failed to have a [livejournal.com profile] godgirl staying on the saturday night due to a combination of my drunkenness and the club closing slightly early - i.e before she got there from the march violets gig. Managed to find her on sunday afternoon though and mostly left her snoozing on my sofa. Last night I mostly lacked the power of speech and took the bear ears to black sheep for their comfort value.

have had a bonza delivery day today - new corset, new camera and a cheapo top from ebay that might even pass as smart wear.... win!

happens. plus it's not the most logic inducing topic of conversation ever...
