it's quite an odd feeling when part way through the day you realise you have no idea whose pants you're wearing...
I thought they felt a bit alien* when I put them on - they come a lot higher up than most of my pants. eventually I checked the label. m&s size 12. certainly not mine. much as I do by m&s pants they're in a lower cut style and a size 14. they must be well over generous with their sizing at m&s these days cos there's no way I'm a 12... which beggars the question where have they come from and why were they in my clean laundry bag... probably more of bridget's stuff left in my house again but then she's not a 12 either! odd.
*chitinous and dripping with goo? no. that is not what I meant.
last night after taekwondo I had a tasty tasty tea which probably sounds horrid but was in fact tasty tasty. smoked tofu, smoked oysters and spring onions fried up in some of the oyster tin oil with 2 eggs beaten with a mixture of rice wine, rice vinegar, soy, mushroom sauce and sesame oil. nom nom nom. the oysters are a new discovery and I shall certainly add them again. oyster to fu yung. nom.
spoke to the hairdresser last night - have to phone tonight to see if she can actually do my hair before whitby. am beginning to panic as it's a big job and my hair is too weedy to just slap a bunch of bleach on the roots and hope for the best.
today I am wearing rabbit socks. this amuses my colleagues. win.
tonight I dine and play board games with mr Mavis. double win.
