If you want to destroy my sweater - hold this thread as I walk away...
hmm haven't actually done an update for a while yet have I? was in a bit of a fug at the weekend cos the club was pretty quiet all 3 nights. hey ho. the gears of harder promotion, night shuffling and fitting extra stuff in are moving.
sunday's competition was interesting to watch - always makes me 50% glad I'm not in it and 50% sad I'm missing out! my voice was some what ragged by the end of it due to my spectatory shouting. by the end of it I was VERY tired - a combination of the terribly early start (up before 5am) and the previous weekend's excesses still no being recovered from. there was, as ever some excellent taekwondo and some very bad taekwondo and this is the 2nd one in a row I've seen without any notable injuries which is good. as ever it's left me feeling i need to up my game. I might start missing pubculture once a month to go to squad training...
monday night was spent round at joel's. I expect the aforementioned tiredness made me pretty useless company - you know, lacking my usual sparkling wit and all. watched princess bride and encountered no wasps. inconceiveable! tuesday bought taekwondo - not too strenuous apart from the leg ups and waist twist excercises which have left me in 'oh no please don't make me laugh' pain. still didn't manage the early night I'd been hankering for. bah! perhaps sleep ~is~ for losers? last night involved starting the end of year payroll stuff, a terribly long bout of shopping at morrisons and eating fabulously cooked ribeye steak in peppercorn sauce - made in a mighty fine team effort with neal - followed by my name is earl and a relatively early night (12:30! woo!)
tonight - some taekwondo (not all of it though), house tidying and organising my clothes for the bring and buy this weekend. tomorrow Johnny's gig. Saturday - more things than I can actually fit into the day ah well. hopefully sunday will involve large quantities of blessed ligging and sleep.
