Got'em.
hehe
6 Rammstein tickets that is. for me, [livejournal.com profile] wsogmm, [livejournal.com profile] attack_monkey, jen, [livejournal.com profile] malcav and bug.

vague mumblings:
I'm sure people will moan that I didn't get them one or what ever but frankly I couldn't afford to get more than that on my card with my account the way it is at the moment plus I wasn't prepared to hang around and let them sell out whilst people 'um'ed and 'ah'ed. so sorry if I've pissed anyone off but hey...

so the above mentioned people now owe me £26 earth pounds each including postage (got them from gigsandtours.com and they quite a bit less per ticket than bloody ticket master - what is up with that bloody company?)

I can hardly move after tuesday's taekwondo class and have to go straight out after work and do it all again... pfft.

had a rather nice tea with [livejournal.com profile] enki again last night. this time it was my choice so we went to shabab. we were only the 3rd lot in there - quite unusual - I'm used to shabab being very full.
I convinced toby to try my normal starter of choice - the harleem - a sort of spicey lamb and ginger stew - v yum. I had paneer tikka for a change. nice. for main course I was unable to resist the chicken liver bhuna. excellent. I'm always suprised by how many people won't touch liver - even though they probably eat pate... very tender. very tasty. toby's chickeny dodad was nice too and had a very lovely sauce - I love shabab. was just a tad baffled by one of the waiters asking me if I was english.

got to the fenton and bumped into [livejournal.com profile] northen_vixen and james who were off to see a band. team eventually turned up and jokingly informed me that the power was off at mine. arse! tropical fish! one panicy phonecall to paul later and the tank was wrapped up in duvets - what a star - not sure how he managed that by candlelight...
pub quiz was appalling - can't remember a time we did worse - no mojo at all - we were actually having trouble simply understanding some of the questions. we eventually lost by 5 points. arsecakes. still it was nice to see bug, ian, red, alex, derv, emma and a bonus tim. much diddly diddly dee-ing occurred and I got 2.5 pints of cider giddy.

walked back and toby and alex came back to mine. to my half darkened street. to my totally darkened house. was beginning to panic about the fish and the freezer by now. lit some candles found a number of the electricity people and ascertained that they thought it'd be back on by 12:30. it actually came back on at 11:50 - even if the lights hadn't have come on you'd have noticed by the sheer volume of house alarms that went off. having read [livejournal.com profile] cyberhen's account of her electricity loss that morning though I wasn't too quick to blow out all of the candles and lo! it went off again albeit briefly. toby and alex eventually poddled off about 1am.

the fish suvived even tho the tank temperature went down by 2-3 degrees - I put this down the fact that any fish that can live through the terribleness of orange fishcare must be hardy indeed. go me. you don't have to be cruel to be kind but it seems to help if you're lazy... ;)
