yipes another weekend over - where do they go?
finally emailed the libdems bowing out - have heard nothing back yet... ooo eerie. just have to get the membership database onto the secretary's pc and I can rest on my laurel's briefly. tried to do this on saturday afternoon but she has windows 2000 on her pc and I only had the 98 version of personal oracle - arses - cue more phone calls and arranging for the pc to be picked up so she can use it till I get the cd and have a chance to install it. I should have asked - but who in their right mind could possibly have concieved that someone so remarkably technically inept would have windows 2000 professional on their pc? pfft.
nice civilised trip to the hogshead on friday night with the usual crowd. no drinking for me though. squad training on saturday was ok - I was severly missing my mojo for most of the lesson - couldn't make any advance on my box splits, couldn't even get my reverse turning kick going at first - it all picked up abit when we started doing turning kick reverse turning kick and adam was so chuffed by mine that he made me do it for the entire class :D hehe teachers pet. apparently I have to use it on fat lorraine next sunday :o *scared*
went over to manchester in my new dress - I don't think people on the transpennine train are used to bright red haired women in pvc maid's dresses drinking cherry b... ah well
pub was pleasant - it was nice to see tinks and dave outside of the wendyhouse again. the club was tiny (smaller than the phono I think...) but very friendly (i.e. random strangers liked my dress) and the vodka wasn't expensive. iicatsii and _a_l_e_x_ started having a row but alex was taking it in her stride so it didn't turn as nasty as it could have done. too much cherry b methinks!
we went back tozheers's with the gang (inc keef's cousin ste - excellent fellow) and drank, listened to music and generally lay around (that man knows the true meaning of the word lounge when applied to a room in the house) and was an uncharacteristically naughty orange. tut tut :D *whistles*
finally got home about 10:15 on a sunday night (althought no kitchen sinks were harmed in the journey) having had my bottom thoroughly warmed by lee's posh car seats.
