They're here...

No-one would have believed, in the last years of the 19th century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space.
No-one could have dreamed we were being scrutinised as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water.

woo! my amazon order just turned up. Ian's present, groundhog day and JEFF WAYNE'S WAR OF THE WORLDS on CD.

excuse me whilst I sit here grinning and regress to my childhood for a few hours.

Bah, my Chappelle’s Show DVDs haven’t turned up yet… I’ll have to turn to the net for my fix of ‘The blind black white supremacist’ and ‘Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories’!!!

Thunder child was always my favourite song.... so soaring, so brave, so noble, so dead so quickly

I used to cry whenever I heard Forever Autumn.

This proves I was utterly pathetic as a child too.

Toptastic.

I have it on vinyl, with the booklet to go with it an'all- I stuck it on the turntable the other night and it still sounds excellent :-)

i love that album soooo much. and it has Phil Lynott in it! (Thin Lizzy) i blame my addiction to musicals and concept albums entirely on Jeff Wayne
